Webflow Designer Experiencing Glitches and Pasting Issues

At a glance

The community member is experiencing issues with pasting Relume elements in the Webflow designer, resulting in duplicate classes. The comments suggest that this could be due to the class sync feature turning off randomly, causing the issue. One community member mentions having a similar problem when copying and pasting directly from relume.io, where the button class did not merge properly. The community members are discussing potential solutions and offering to investigate further if the original poster can provide a read-only version of their project.

Anyone else having issues pasting relume elements today? I've updated browser and extension but still getting duplicate classes. Webflow designer in general feels very glitchy last few days tbh.

you may already know this because I know you are a seasoned vet but wanted to mention it anyway - duplicates will happen until you've cleaned your project of said duplicates. I see the number 3 there in your screenshot.

I have had the class sync turn off on me randomly - like it'll literally work on pasting one component, I barely navigate or do anything else that I'm aware of and then the class sync is turned off and I go to paste another component and it shows me the yellow alert - I'll undo (cmd + z) and then check class sync, turn it back on and paste and its fine.

Especially since it looks like padding-global and container-large are the ones duplicating, I really think its likely that class sync turned off without you realizing it.

But if you truly believe that is not the case, if you wouldn't mind sharing a read-only so we can dig into it more that would be helpful.

I've had something similar recently. I copy/pasted from relume.io directly, with the plugin sync turned on. All classes EXCEPT button were successfully merged, but button 2 was created instead of merging properly.

thanks for that Emmett - I have seen that before. Do you have a read-only so we can investigate?

Thanks Matt, I'll investigate and let you know. This could well be the case on this occasion, I've defo had instances of '[duplicate] 2' though these past few days, and I tend to clear out unused classes.
Appreciate the reply.
