Upgrading to a premium figma ui kit and maintaining compatibility with existing wireframes

At a glance

The community member is asking if the premium Figma UI kit is compatible with wireframes generated during the trial plan, and whether upgrading to a pro plan will link the generated wires to the premium kit. The responses indicate that the premium kit should work smoothly with the existing wireframes, and one community member shares their workflow of using a dedicated Figma project for the premium kit as a template. There is no explicitly marked answer, but the community members provide helpful information and suggestions.

Does anyone know if the premium figma UI kit is backwards compatible with wireframes generated when I was in the trial plan? Ideally I would want to be able to update global styles.. but it seems the only way to do this is in the initial set of components that were created.

Related follow up question.. when you upgrade to a pro plan, will any generated wires imported into Figma now have a direct link to the premium kit?

Hey ! Thanks for your patience πŸ™‚

Just speaking with our team, I think the short answer (if I'm understanding correctly) is yes. It should work smoothly with your Premium Figma Kit βœ…

However, if you have any trouble at all please do sing out! πŸ’ͺ

Yes, it worked great when starting from the premium kit. So what I have done is create a project in figma that is reserved for the premium kit and use it as a template to start new projects when exporting from Relume.

Nice! Happy to hear that πŸ™‚ Anything we can help with, we're here πŸ•Ί

also I hope y'all pump King Gizzard or any of the other great Aussie music groups that are adjacent ( Pipe-Eye, The Murlocs, Babe Rainbow, Cavs) in your offices consistently πŸ˜‰

Will have a sus! πŸ’ͺ

Enjoy.. they are fantastic
