Updating the relume library in a figma project

At a glance

The community member is asking if it's possible to update the Relume library to the latest version (2.5) within a Figma project, as they are currently using version 2.3. Another community member responds that the best approach is to duplicate the Relume Figma Kit v2.5, customize the style guide to match the existing one, and then publish it as a new Figma Library. The community member can then include this new library in their previous file to have the latest components. This is currently the only way to achieve the desired update.

Hey team, is it possible to update the relume library to the latest edition inside of a Figma project? I started on library 2.3, but would love to update to 2.5 if possible.

your best bet at the moment would be to duplicate the Relume Figma Kit v2.5, customize the style guide to match your existing one and then publish it as a Figma Library then go to your previous file and include that newly created figma library in that file - now you have matching components with the latest and greatest. Unfortunately, for right now, that is the only way.
