Updating an Old Version of the Relume Style Guide on an Existing Site

At a glance

The community member is asking if there is a way to update an old version of the Relume style guide on an existing site with the most recent version. The comments indicate that the community members have received this request frequently, and they plan to create a proper video tutorial to address it. Currently, the recommendation is to manually copy the style guide page into the project and migrate the classes manually, which the community members have documented on the Relume website. However, they acknowledge that this may not be straightforward for all users. The community members also note that their official recommendation is to not migrate from version 1.5 to 2.0, but it seems to be a common request.

Useful resources

Hi! Is there a way to update an old version of the relume style guide on an existing site with the most recent version of the relume style guide? The tutorial videos only cover other scenarios, as far as I can see...

we've gotten this request too many times I think and I'm going to create a proper video for it. It will just take a little time as I want to make sure that what I'm teaching is both practical and correct.

Up to this point all that we've done is instructed lumers to manually copy the style guide page into the project and then migrate the classes manually - which you can find all of the changes we made here:
https://www.relume.io/whats-new/january-component-day#webflow-style-guide-updates

But I don't know how straightforward that is for you or others.

Officially our recommendation is to not migrate from 1.5 to 2.0 but it seems like a very common request now.

Thanks for your effort!
