Table of Contents Implementation Roadblock

At a glance

The community member is trying to implement a table of contents (TOC) feature on their blog, but is facing an issue where the TOC only shows headings marked as H2, and not H3. They have attached images to illustrate the problem, showing that when a heading is changed from H2 to H3, it no longer appears in the TOC. The community member is seeking ideas on why this might be happening.

Hey all,

I've been trying to figure out the table of contents implementation, and I've come to a roadblock whereby I can only get it to work for H2s.

I've attached a series of images below to show the set up, yet when I change a heading to H3 instead of H2, it no longer shows in the TOC section.

Images attached:

  • Attributes on the text block for H3's
  • Blog with all headings as H2 working fine
  • What the blog looks like in the CMS with one heading changed to H3
  • Blog with the H3 missing and all other H2s showing

Any ideas why this might be?

Cheers
Jamie
