Sitemap import limits for pro account

At a glance

The community member is inquiring about the ability to import unlimited pages via the sitemap import feature in the pro account. The comments indicate that the 50-page limitation is due to performance concerns, not the account plan. The community members discuss the possibility of increasing the limit in the future, but there is no definite timeline. They also suggest the option to allow users to select which pages to import from the sitemap, rather than importing them all. The community members share a sitemap URL and mention that the original website was not created by the current user, who is taking over the site and moving it to a new platform.

Hi there, does the pro account support importing unlimited pages via the sitemap import? Right now I’m limited to 50

the limitation on 50 pages is more from a performance standpoint, and not tied to what plan you are on, so no upgrading to pro won't lift this limitation. I'll dig into more about why we have that limitation and if there's any plans to increase that limit in the future and get back to you!

it does sound like increasing that number in the future IS on the table, but we'll have to do some testing on it. No ETA at this time unfortunately.

How many pages were you hoping to import (if you know the number that is).

We have a large directory on our website which pushes the total number of pages north of 200. However, the pages that actually need to be redesigned are far fewer. Maybe instead of increasing the number, you could allow people to select which pages from the sitemap?

I can work around it for now, I don’t actually need more than. the 50 page limit, but i have no ability to select which pages i’m importing at this point it just goes top down from the sitemap xml

right right - would you mind sharing the URL or DMing it, we could possibly consider including the URL structure regex for future imports?

Original site not made by me, im taking it over and moving it to relume
