Resolving class sync issues with the relume widget

At a glance

The community member is new to the class sync issue and has downloaded the relume widget for Chrome and turned on class sync, which seemed to help. However, they are still experiencing issues with global padding and containers coming through with a number 2. The community members are discussing possible solutions, such as checking if their style guide preferences match the style guide they are building with, and offering to share a read-only link to help troubleshoot the issue. There is no explicitly marked answer.

Hi all, I’m new to the class sync issue so apologies if this has been answered many times already, I realised I had the problem and then downloaded the relume widget for chrome and made sure class sync was turned on. That seemed to have helped, but I’m now still getting issues with things like global padding and containers coming through with a number 2. Any ideas what I’ve done wrong?

Was about to ask the same thing here, hope there's a simple resolution for this one.

@Andy Charlton @Ravi Vasavan Interesting guys! Would you be happy to DM or share a read-only link here? The only other thing could be that your style guide preferences might not match the style guide you're building with?

Will do my best to help you get to the bottom of this! 💪

I am on the latest as shown above. I think it may be that I've somehow messed up steps after cloning, or done something forced that fundamentally changed the structure of the styleguide/page.

Hm interesting. Well yeah feel free to DM or share read-only here and I'll have a look Ravi 🙂

will send a DM, thanks
