Resizing Images In Webflow: A Beginner's Guide

At a glance

A community member is using the Relume style guide and layout 494 in Webflow. When they replace images and add a new image, it loads accurately, but when they publish the page, the image gets resized and appears tiny. Another community member suggests that the issue is caused by the image being larger in size than the spot it's being placed in, and recommends disabling the image's responsiveness in the settings. The second community member confirms that this resolved the issue.

Hi, I am using the relume style guide and layout 494. When I click replace images and add a new image, the image gets loaded accurately. Yet, as soon as I publish the page, Webflow resizes the image and shows up tiny. Could you help me what I should do different in Webflow? (I am still quite a beginner with Webflow). Many thanks.

@Christoph Brenner if you select the image, and go to settings (D on your keyboard) and then find the checkbox "disable responsiveness" - then publish and let me know if that resolved the issue.

This is caused by the image being larger in size (width/height) than the spot its being placed in.

@Matt many thanks, that did the job. Many thanks πŸ™Œ
