Rename all "navbar6-..." to "navbar-..."

At a glance

The community member is copying Relume components into their Webflow site, but they dislike the numbered subclasses (e.g., "navbar6"). They ask if there is an easy way to remove the numbers and rename all "navbar6-..." to "navbar-...". Another community member suggests using the free Finsweet Chrome Extension and its "Folders" feature to rename the component classes in bulk. They provide a link to the documentation, but note it might be overwhelming, and offer to help with any specific questions. The other community members confirm this is a useful approach and recommend trying it out on test builds.

Hello, I'm copying Relume components into my Webflow site... but I hate that all the subclasses of the component have the number -- for example: navbar6

Is there an easy way to get rid of all the numbers?

if you install the free Finsweet Chrome Extension - you can use the "Folders" feature to rename your component classes in bulk.

Here is some documentation on this process - might be a tad overwhelming though - if you have any specific questions around this please reach out - DM me even, happy to do a super quick loom on the exact steps.

Oh great, I'm checking it now. Ty Matt!

This is how I do it as well. Try it out on a couple of test builds and see how it works. Once you learn it, it's smooths out the process of renaming your components so much - it's really powerful.
