Relume Library Preferences Switched to Recommended V2.1

At a glance

The community member is working on a Relume V1.x project and has noticed that the Relume library preferences have been switched to the "recommended" V2.1. They are unsure if everything is working as expected, as the class sync says "OK" but the color variables seem to be broken. The community member is concerned about this discrepancy and is frustrated by the lack of documentation.

The community member is also looking for V1 to V2 migration documentation, as they believe there is no "magical tool" to upgrade and the site will need to be rebuilt. They would like confirmation on this and some guidelines or best practices to follow during the migration process.

In the comments, another community member acknowledges the feedback and states that they will prioritize creating a more thorough document on the migration process, as several people have been asking for the same information. They also mention that they will follow up with the team to address the issues the original community member has encountered.

Useful resources

Hi to all,

Now when working on Relume V1.x project, i noticed Relume library preferences being switched to "recommended" V2.1 I am not sure, if everything is working as supposed. The class sync says OK, but IMO the color variables are broken and maybe other stuff? I am in the finishing of a big project I did noted this discrepancy in version only by accident. To be honest and this makes me quite worrying... also that I am not finding any documentation on this is frustrating.

A second issue is less urgent.

I am looking for a V1 to V2 migration docs. I believe there will be no magical tool to upgrade. From my understanding the site will have to be rebuild.

But I would like to see:

  • confirmation on this (to be sure there is no other easier way)
  • some guidelines or best practices so I do not have to figure out everything from scratch

There are others looking for the same:

Thanks for helping out, you guys do great job.

Hi thank you so much for your feedback. I will be sure to prioritize a more thorough document on the migration process. You're right, several people are asking for the same thing - its something we should have. I'm on it.

As for those issues, let me kick that over to the team to see if we can get on top of that. I will follow up!
