Hey team 👋
I wanted to flag an issue related to plan cancellation and account management via Stripe.
Like many others, I signed up expecting a simple 7-day free trial — but it turns out the only way to cancel the plan is to email support@relume.io. There’s no way to cancel directly in the “Manage Plan” section, which is pretty inconvenient and not in line with how other services using Stripe operate. I use Stripe with many tools and this is the first time I’ve encountered this kind of friction.
Additionally, there’s a “Reactivate” CTA in the Manage Plan panel that seems like it would just downgrade your plan or reactivate access — but clicking it automatically extends your subscription by a full month. This is really confusing from a UX perspective.
Even worse, in the context of the free trial, if you try out Pro or Team features during those 7 days, things get messy: on the 6th day, canceling causes Stripe to behave unexpectedly, and again — there's no auto-cancel option like other Stripe-integrated platforms provide.
I get that this might be a minor system limitation or even a marketing tactic, but it’s leading to real confusion and frustration for users. There’s already discussion happening here with more examples:

P.S. I actively use Relume at the company I work for — but now, testing it for my own business, I’ve found this to be one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve encountered. Something that should take 3 minutes to resolve (like canceling a subscription) ends up taking 24–48 hours, which leads to a lot of unnecessary friction and user frustration.
Best!
Sylwester :)
@Sylwester Smigielski thank you for providing this feedback especially in such a respectful way over something that is understandably frustrating. I have passed on your message in its entirety to the team.
Thanks so much for taking the time to respond - and for passing the feedback along.
I really appreciate the transparency and your openness to user input. Relume is a great tool with huge potential, and that's exactly why I care about these details. Looking forward to seeing improvements in the future 🙌
I’m almost certain that improvements will be coming. Thanks again, appreciate your support and patience here!
