Padding: The Optimal Global Approach

At a glance

The community member who posted the original question is curious about the reason for setting the padding-global to 5% specifically. Another community member responds that the 5% value was likely just a general preference, and that the percentage was chosen to make the layout responsive, but they are unsure why 5% was selected over other percentages like 7% or 3%. The original poster simply responds with "Thank you", indicating they found the response helpful, but there is no explicitly marked answer provided.

Curious if anyone knows, is there a reason that the padding-global is set to 5% specifically? Is that just what generally looks right?

yeah, I would say it was just a general preference - the percentage is intentional so that it is responsive. But I don't know why its 5% versus 7% or 3%, etc.
