Optimizing Section Naming in Webflow with Relume AI

At a glance

The community member is asking whether the Relume AI site builder should name the sections in Webflow, as they are currently seeing generic names like "section_layout37" instead of the names provided by the AI copy generation. Another community member responds that the section names are determined by how the sections are added - if copied from the site builder, the section name will be used, but if added directly in the wireframe view, the name may be empty and default to the component name. The community members discuss this issue and provide suggestions on how to view the section names in Webflow.

Should the Relume AI site builder name your sections in Webflow? Currently I’m only seeing generic names like “section_layout37” vs what the AI copy generation gave me.

how did you go about getting your second screenshot - where a div had a name like that?

Hi David, when you're copying from site builder it'll use the section name.

You can see the section name in either:

  1. The sitemap view
  2. The Section panel on the right side of the wireframe view

Sometimes, if you add a section in the wireframe view, the name will be empty so it'll fallback to the component's name (like layout37).

Hope that helps! If not, could you please share a link to your site builder project and we'll take a look.

This div name came when I copied this section from the Resume AI site build into webflow.

Thanks Sam. That makes sense. I did add the section from the wireframe view so that must have done it. Cheers.
