Question About Modifying Color Schemes in Style Guide Presentation

Hey there! I have a question regarding the presentation you gave yesterday on the new style guide introducing the concept of a “Color Schemes.” How do you plan to modify the palette of a component where adding a combo class is not an option?

yes! I have different pages with components where I need to change the component color (the navbar for example) . I ended up doing this, but it ended up having a lot of colors. That’s why I was wondering if evaluating the color modes for each scheme would be a good idea.

ah yeah well of course variable modes came in just at the end of us about to release style guide builder and style guide builder export - so we have not really had a chance to evaluate variable modes. Additionally, Webflow has not yet made variable modes available via the designer API so we can't dynamic add variable modes yet. Your solution seems like a good one to me, but its not something we can do yet.
