Modifying Existing Sections in Relume to Fit Your Design

At a glance

The community member Kristopher is working on a project and has started using Relume. They have a wireframe sketched out on paper and want to translate it into Relume. Kristopher asks if it's possible to modify existing sections to fit their exact design and requests any tips on how to do this.

In the comments, another community member suggests that while the Relume Site Builder has some editing limitations, Kristopher can export to Figma or Webflow where they will have no limitations and can design/build any design possible. However, there is no two-way sync between Relume and Figma/Webflow, so once Kristopher exports to those platforms, they are essentially done with the Relume version unless they create additional pages that can be imported individually.

Hi everyone, I’m Kristopher. I’m working on a project and just started using Relume. I’ve sketched out a wireframe on paper and want to translate it into Relume. Is it possible to modify existing sections to fit my exact design? Any tips on how to do this would be appreciated. Thanks!

@Kristopher Francisco welcome! So the Relume Site Builder does have some editing limitations but if you export to Figma or Webflow you have no limitations at all and can design/build any design possible.

Sounds great. If I edit in Figma, will I be able to interact with the updated changes in Relume?

No unfortunately there's no two way sync - once you export to Figma or Webflow, you are basically done with the Relume version unless you create additional pages you could then import individually into those platforms
