Thanks Matt. After considering, I don't see a space for Relume in my current working process working with stakeholders and drafting strategy/content first. I'm using Framer/Figma for now, using existing libraries to speed up the build up process and still having control over the content. I'll follow up the next platform, for nos this does not fit in my stack/process. Thanks for offering the new pricing. Take care!
Hey Matt, thanks for getting back to me. So if I understand correctly looking at your quote below, the value proposition of Relume is to create fast idea generation before the content stage, in order to get quick sitemaps/wireframes early, to inform the scope, visualise the potential overall architecture to agree with the client/project lead and then move towards more in depth content creation, or even throw quick landing pages/experiments to test out?
Our current platform is best if you are not starting from any kind of pre-conceived ideas for content. There's no way to input your content, and lock it in and then generate the wireframes based on that.
Good to hear there's a pricing update coming. My work with my creative studio is focused guiding people and small companies through the design workflow from idea/vision to outer expression (webdesign, decks, collaterals) etc; so I'm user/content first. I might see some use cases in the future for Relume, but for now I'm more curious about navigating with curated content and intention and coherence throughout the whole brand ecosystem. I'll keep an eye on your new product release!
Hey, I'd like to bring something up. I'm designing a website, portfolio/business for services. The Sitemap for the website I'm working on is fairly simple, home/product pages/features pages, a few other sections, about 10 pages in total. Content is for me king, and I was already in the copy/strategic thinking. before coming across Relume. I started to use Relume with the hope and excitment to speed up the wireframing from my existing content, and then leverage the great component library to generate designs and finalise in Figma - Then Figma Sites or Webflow to push it live. First issue, after adding my ideal sitemap structure base on relume's suggestion, and adding all of my content, relume just made its own filter on my bespoke content. Is there a way to "lock" the content in this step of wireframe generation? Maybe I'm not getting the use case, but what's the point of speed-running sitemap+wireframe if it's disconnected from deep UX/Design/Business content tied up to the branding, value proposition, users insights etc? I find the basic plan of 5 pages very limiting for any kind of professional work, so I could only find use for the Relume Pro. 58 $ offers more or less unlimited features, but damn, that's a STEEP price in my view, that's more that the whole Adobe Suite in comparison. You can't compare with Adobe, since Relume's promise is to chop through painful production work, so you regain that value very fast by cutting your work hours and focusing mainly on creativity. Yet if I consider the first generative feature content/sitemap/wireframe isn't useful for me. Then the main usage I have is the component library, which I could substitue for a cheaper one time purchase of existing great Ui libraries. I had build excitement stepping from content to Relume, and now I'm confused and disappointed. Maybe I'm not getting it yet, or maybe this isn't fitting my workflow. Curious to hear for your opinions and support!
