Still just testing to see if Relume works for me. I can see how it would be very useful if you are building a site for yourself, as I could refine it in Webflow, but as I intend using it for client sites to speed up wireframing and concept development, I can see a few issues that I need to resolve. I thought initially that the Style Guide concepts idea would allow me to create 3 different versions of the page so that I can send 3 different page layouts and styles to a client. Instead, it seems that it is only the same page layout, and you can send 3 different concepts based on typography, colour and UI styling. I can see these options -
Just create the 3 style variations in the Relume Style Guide pitch concepts and send the link to the client.
Create 1 project, then duplicate it twice and make layout changes to each of these. This then means upgrading to the Pro plan, which is double the price of the Starter plan and a bit beyond my budget at the moment.
Alternatively, I could export to Figma, make changes there, and send a preview of 3 different layouts with styles. But this means I have to learn Figma too, as I donβt really understand it (or have time to learn yet another new tool). This also means then either exporting the (winning) Figma file to Webflow or recreating the changes in Webflow.
At the moment, I am trying to make Relume fit my workflow but am struggling to see if that is possible at the moment. I simply want a workflow as follows: Create sitemap - create wireframes - add copy, create mockup to send to client that looks as near as possible to the final design - send to Webflow and refine I am trying to get up to speed with it quickly, so I may be overlooking something so please let me know.
Ah thanks. I didn't see the small icon.
Hi. This is my first time using Slack, so I hope I'm doing this right!!! π¬ I'm using Relume for the first time and so far it looks good, but I'd like to know how to customise the images in the Style Guide. Is there any way of adding my own and choosing where each one goes? I'm just thinking if I am going to pitch concepts to clients then it would be best to use relevant images to their site, not random stock ones
