Looking for either help with an issue or clarification of intended functionality of the import from Relume into Figma.
When I import my wireframe from Relume into Sigma, it builds my wireframe pages with all of the sections and content in Figma. However, the patterns (for example the Navbar) that get placed into the wireframe design are not components and are not linked in anyway to either the MARKETING COMPONENTS in the Relume Figma starter file, nor are they connected to the components generated in the “Relume Components” that is auto generated in an empty Sigma file when you import.
This is causing a problem because I am unable to efficiently update the styling of my patterns as is suggested that I should be able to because the patterns within the Wireframe are not connected as component instances so don’t update when I update the components in the MARKETING COMPONENTS/Relume Components.
A colleague of mine did an import previously (not sure how long ago) and all of the components were properly linked between the wireframe and components. However, we have tried many imports within the last 24 hours and none have been properly linked.
Is this a change to the functionality or a bug possibly related to a recent update to Relume/Figma?
To test the issue, I tried a variety of different imports with different types of content to see if customization on the Relume end might have been the problem. This is what I tried:
- Customized relume wireframe with custom content and changing the elements within a component --> full import of all pages into Figma
- brand new relume wireframe that was fully Ai generated, no further customization --> full import of all pages into Figma
- brand new relume wireframe where I individually added basic patterns with no content or element customization --> import full single page into Figma
- brand new relume wireframe where I individually added basic patterns with no content or element customization --> import single component into Figma
