Theres seems to be a major issue with it. Lots of posts here about it. I鈥檇 hang tight until they say something or hotfix
Not sure about the chrome extension, but I imagine it can be done. Look into Wized from Finsweet for the app part..

I鈥檓 having the same issue. Joined slack to ask this exact thing. Mine is not only failing to import some components, but also placing a bunch of random text and elements next to the artboard.
