The reason behind that decision was we wanted the user to see the videos as they scroll through - most of the traffic coming to this site is from the site owner’s audience, who came here exactly to learn how he creates those videos. Showing those videos shows they are in the right place and reinforces the value prop.

I believe you can also zoom in and out by holding cmd+ scroll wheel on the mouse
