Inability to paste Relume components into Webflow

At a glance

Hello everyone. I noticed today that I cannot paste any relume components into Webflow, I copy them from the relume chrome extension but it just freezes with message "relume: synching classes" I was working with it yesterday all and everything was neat. Any ideas?

Yes I'm also having this issue. any known bugs?

What happened? this is also an issue for me, I deleted classes just to fix it because I thought that was the cause. This is a problem for everyone right now?

the plugin just spins and spins, paste never happens

Paste works when disable "sync" but is not the best solution as u gotta rename manually

Same issue here

yeah the times line up almost exact with Webflow making a new release so I'm sure something had gotten disconnected. Its possible that a member of the engineering team will be online in a couple hours - some of them rise early. I'll keep you posted in the other thread.

Have same issues with "Relume: Syncing Classes..." freeze today - never experienced before - tried on Chrome and Arch via extension and directly from webpage - same everywhere.

That's what I figured as well. Thank you for keeping us updated!

Yep, I’ve been having the same issue. I can’t get any relume components into Webflow and way I try from the site or plugin. I tried disabling sync and that doesn’t seem to work

We've identified the problem and pushing out a fix. I'll relay more info once I have it!

Hello all! I have some great news, and less than great news.

Let's start positive here...the great news - we have fixed the issue. It was indeed related to the new changes Webflow made.

Less than great news...the fix is inside of the chrome extension and the chrome store takes a day or two to publish new updates. So it'll be a bit of a wait.

Some okay news...we have a potential workaround that is not awful.

  1. Open up site builder
  2. Go straight to wireframe
  3. Pull in any components you'd like to bring into a project.
  4. Then go to your Webflow project and open up the Relume Webflow App
  5. Navigate to the project you just created
  6. Add any of those components or all of those components into your project and class sync is integrated so all should work fine

I've tested this path and it took me but 30 seconds to do the whole process. Not ideal, but its really the only workaround we can think of at the moment while we wait for the chrome store to approve the new updates.

... and some good news is that in my case the regular chrome extension was already updated into v.56 published today and works as expected in regular way. Thank you for quick reaction and fix. 🙏

awesome yeah we never really know when it comes to the chrome store review/publishing
