Feature Sections Left 1 2 Col Part 2 Section Layout 121

At a glance

Hi all, i'm trying to use https://library.relume.io/preview?cid=feature-sections-left-1-2-col-part-2/section_layout121 and i have some major issue which i don't know where it's originating from.

anyway it seems really off when i paste it in the client's Webflow account, attaching screenshot for reference - the interaction is not working at all proportions are off ( although i used the Relume cloneable styleguide).

does anybody dealt with this kind of issue before?

Relume is getting the class properties from the existing ones. It looks like, the existing classes with the same name have different values.

I had exaclty the same issue with the same component few weeks ago
I guess maybe a Relume Library and project version discrepacy?
I was reporting it here, but no resolution yet:

oh bummer - hope we'll both get an answer, since then i've tried to copy it into a new clean slate user to rule out any existing classes that class sync might have missed but it's still give the same result - quite a let down since i've already signed on this design to customer, welp.

hey guys! Nati, please feel free to share here or DM me a read-only link of the project and if you could describe in detail the exact issues which are standing out, that'd be amazing.

Happy to help troubleshoot this one with you πŸ™‚

Yes, this could support my theory about the library version and style guide version conflict. What is your style guide version and what is your library version?

thanks! very interesting i'll be looking into it ,did passed my mind that this is might me the problem since i'm used to working with a user provided me by my employer and the problems i'm having is with my new user i've created for freelance work.

well, i'm using the CF v2.1 with the CF v2.1 style guide (the one which the button leads to) so i don't know, it might still be the problem i also assumed that the component is outdated compared to the styleguide

Thanks for your testing and sharing. Well, then I am afraid this is beyond our options to solve this and guys from Relume has to provide us a solution. Also, we need the missing DOC on how to properly use the Relume library now, when there are multiple versions of the Style guide. Because I neeed to finish my project using old version as I cannon rebuild the whole site.
Any progress or ETA on this issue?

BTW, there are more user reporting broken colors and other issues:

Hi thank you for you video! I watched it whole and I believe I do understand how we should use the library versions, however there is one small question remaining.

So the steps are:

  1. Find the version of Relume Library Style Guide: Go to project in Webflow (in edit mode) and click page Style guide, there should be a version on the top mentioned. In my case it is "Version 1.3 β€’ Client-First V2"
  2. Make sure class sync is enabled.
  3. Go to Library and change preferences according to version of the style guide. Here, in my case, I should select "Relume Style Guide - Version 1.5 CF V2"? Even if my Styleguide is version 1.3?
  4. Next, carry on as usual and copy paste components

Can you confirm this is correct procedure, especially for SG version 1.3?

I will keep the "upgrade" scenario for LATER (first need to finish this stage of project).

Thanks for your support, I really appreciate it

Petr

Yes mate! That's it. I see the confusion. Yes, the 1.5 versioning is as far as we go back to currently support as far as I'm aware. The guys likely would have done patches to account for any updates between 1.3~1.5

Hopefully that helps! Please do sing out if you run in to any issues πŸ™‚

Thanks for your support, Kaleb

hi! I'm having the same issue with Layout 121, though I am keeping with the newest version. It looks like the interactions don't appear on the preview page at all. https://www.relume.io/components/layout-121

Good catch! Yeah if you look closely, it does juuuuust sneak in a bit of the interaction but it looks like we need to add some space above the component so you can see the full interaction πŸ™‚ Thanks for pointing this out! Super good timing as we're looking into this for other components liiiiiterally as we speak! 🀠
