Exporting Relume designs to webflow with detached instances

At a glance

A community member is a new Relume subscriber who has been working on a wireframe in Figma. When they edit a Relume component, they have to detach the instance, but when exporting the design to Webflow, not everything transfers over. The community member believes this is because the sections are no longer purple since the instance was detached. Another community member responds that using the Figma to Webflow plugin with Relume will yield mixed results, as Relume components are dependent on the Relume Style Guide and the plugin ignores the structure of the output.

Hello, I'm a new Relume Subscriber, and i have been playing around with a wireframe in figma. When I edit a relume component, i have to detach the instance, but when exporting the finished design to webflow, not everything will transfer over, Correct me if Im wrong, but I think this has to do with the fact that the sections are no longer purple because the instance is detached. Does anyone happen to have a solution to get the edited designs export ready for webflow?

unfortunately you’ll get mixed results if you are trying to use the figma to webflow plugin with Relume. Our components are dependent on the Relume Style Guide and the names of the classes and unfortunately the figma to webflow plugin ignores any opinion on how you structure the output.
