Exploring Figma to Webflow Plugin for Faster Design to Development Transition

At a glance

The community member is exploring the Figma to Webflow plugin as a way to speed up the transition from design to development using the Relume library. One community member asks if the plugin allows moving designs from Figma to Webflow without any issues. Another community member responds that in their testing, the raw Relume components from Figma don't copy into Webflow well, with the responsiveness often broken when copying from "desktop" versions of the designed components. They suggest that redesigning the designs in Webflow may be a cleaner approach.

Hey y'all! Anybody have played around with the Figma to Webflow pluggin? I will be exploring this as an opportunity to speedup the transition from design to development using Relume library so any feedback would be appreciated!

Does the plugin allow one to move his design from Figma to Webflow without any problem?

In my quick testing, the raw relume components from Figma don’t copy into Webflow well. The responsiveness is usually broken when copying from “desktop” versions of the designed components. As of right now, it seems like redesigning your designs in Webflow is a cleaner way to go.
