Even Stranger, It Works on the About Page, but Not on the Homepage

At a glance

Community members are experiencing a bug where JavaScript is not working on some pages of their Webflow sites, but is working on others. They suspect the issue is caused by external code or a Webflow platform issue. After investigating, they determine the problem is likely outside of their control. The Webflow status page indicates a fix has been pushed, and community members confirm the bug is resolved after republishing their sites.

Hey jeff, I am having this bug, too. I am seeing it on your homepage but not on the about-us page. In my case, its the same, where some pages work and some dont. It's not just a 'drop down menu' issue, its a js error that's stopping any JS on the page from working. If you check the Console in chrome, you see those errors. I am seeing the same errors on my site and yours.

I haven't figure out yet what I have on a given page that is causing it to happen vs. not happen. Also, I have only observed this in the past, roughly, 3 hours, since around 12pm ET.

thanks Todd, yes same for me. Could it be an external error?

I think its gotta be from something external, like some extra code we've both imported via a relume component. I just don't know which one yet. I'm gonna build up a page from scratch and keep adding my common components until I see it break.

got it, thanks! I literally had the go ahead to go live, and now this 🤦

im going to try rebuilding parts of it

I think this is related to this issue.

Before you guys get too far into rebuilding things haha

ohhhh, thanks so much

Yeah, im not finding a smoking gun from any of my sections/components. And given the inconsistency of seeing it on some pages and not all (for both me and Jeff, and I imagine everyone else) it's probably something outside our control.

Thanks Chris and Todd! Good to hear im not crazy

The status page says they pushed a fix, you should republish your site for it to take effect. I've done so on mine and can confirm the bug is gone.
