Designing a Complex Booking Process in a Webflow Modal

At a glance

The community member is building a website for a car glass franchise company that includes a complex booking process in a pop-up modal. The process involves data entry, forms, multiple choice, location finder, and appointment finder, with the subsequent steps determined by the user's entries (e.g., a stone chip vs. a crack). The community member is seeking advice on how to approach this modal, whether there is a good starting point with Relume/Webflow, or if it will require a lot of hard coding.

The comments suggest that the community member consider using Typeform, which has an integration with Webflow and can handle the complex conditional logic required for this project. The community members agree that this is a challenging first project, but Typeform is recommended as a tool that can simplify the process and is worth the monthly expense.

Useful resources

Hello Lumers,

maybe you can help me with my challenge. I am currently building my first website in Webflow with Relume. My client is a car glass franchise company. On the site is going to be a more complex booking process in a pop up modal. It’s a mix of data entry, forms, multiply choice, location finder and appointment finder.
In addition, the entries determine the subsequent process, e.g. a stone chip leads to the user having to describe it in more detail. A crack, on the other hand, leads to the windshield being replaced.

How would you approach such a modal? Is there a good starting point with Relume/Webflow. Or does that mean a lot of hard coding?

I am happy to receive any tips. For a better understanding, I have attached the layout of the modals here.

Cheers
Dušan

I would consider using Typeform for this. They have an integration with Webflow I see. Watch the video on this page: https://www.typeform.com/help/a/embed-your-typeform-360029249212/

Dang, what a wild first project! Not going to lie, super complex under the best circumstances, a nightmare under the worst.

I agree with Jordan, you're going to have a lot of "conditional logic" to deal with - while something like Webflow Logic or Formly Logic might work, it'll take you 10x (and I might be optimistic here) to do it versus using a tool like Typeform. Typeform is expensive monthly but worth every penny.

Thanks for the help. I’ll take a closer look at Typeform.

Yes, I don’t know either. A simple project would be too simple. But thanks for the tip - you’re both heading in the direction of Typeform.
