@Adam Can you send me a read-only link?
Also have you changed any of your preference settings for the components in the library?
Either in the library itself or in the chrome extension? If you have no idea what I'm talking about, we can assume no.
Hey Matt - appreciate you getting back
Yes, I have it on the default preferences (v2.1 recommended)

I opened an entirely new project here, disabled Finsweet plugin in case that was interfering in some way, and pasted in two components.
There's other issues in a similar style, such as navbar menus - only the centre line appears, the others are not black by default. This has to be manually altered, and the positioning of 'menu-icon_line-middle-top' has to be altered as otherwise it appears in the wrong position (doing my best to highlight where it appears by default)
There's also issues like this button
I've had this problem since I started using the free library a few months ago and I've just manually fixed them every time, but now I've got the full package having to fix these things on every component is really quite tedious...
Yep, I'm using the extention with class sync
But it happens either way, blank document with one component pasted in will have the same issues
Understood, just making sure we have the basics covered and the facts lined up! Will reproduce and send to the team and go from there. We’ll definitely want to solve this!
Appreciate it!
I'm a bit confused if nobody else has had the problems, would be interesting to hear if the same issue presents on my read-only link for someone else or if other people doing the same actions has the same end result
we've had some sporadic reports of it but to my knowledge nobody has provided the same level of evidence that you have. As one might imagine, these things can get extremely complex and technical.
I appreciate it being looked into, if there's any other info I could provide or things I could try that'd be great
Just a pain in the backside now as I have to manually fix a lot of small issues, at least for the most part if I fix one the others of the same class follow
so it turns out that you are not using our style guide as the starting point.
You'll want to clone either the Relume Style Guide for webflow or the client-first style guide, in order for the components and classes that you need to be synced, along with the variables.
If you dont have a preference, I would suggest using our style guide.

ah you mentioned that you did try it in the CF style guide though yeah? Do you have the read-only link for that project where you did it with the CF style guide or?
the read-only link with no style guide is not worth even testing it out as there will be a whole host of issues with that project without the style guide as a basis - pasting our components in without the style guide will produce quite a few issues for sure. They are not intended to be pasted into a project without the style guide cloned. However, it still can be done, you'll just be seeing a lot of the issues you've pointed out.
The other issue is that if you have not modified your preferences in the library and you are using the CF style guide, you'll need to match your preferences to that style guide.
Appreciate this - I've used the Relume style guide and that appears to resolve it.
I have been using the Client First v2.1 style guide though, and get the issues when I use that. Doesn't seem to be a problem with the Relume one, though.
Thanks though, this solves it!
Okay, I don't believe it should be an issue with the CF v2.1 but again you'd need to make sure that your preferences are set correctly for that to work correctly. I'll do some testing.
