Controlling the Scroll Behavior in the Gallery 24 Component

At a glance

The community member is experiencing an issue with the "Gallery 24" component in a Webflow project, where there is "dead-space" at the end of the component. They have tried adjusting the size of the parent container but without success. The community member would like to understand how to control the scroll behavior to make the "vertical scroll" kick in sooner and the "horizontal scroll" stop sooner.

In the comments, another community member suggests that the issue may be related to the "home_gallery_component" div, which controls the hidden vertical track of the scroll section. They suggest that shortening this track and making the scrolling come to an end sooner may help resolve the issue.

The community member who provided the suggestion is thanked for their help.

Fellow lumers - I’m wondering how I can remove the ‘dead-space’ at the end of the Gallery 24 component

Quick Loom of the issue/desired outcome

Fiddled with the size of the parent container, but no luck. Basically I’d like to understand how to control the scroll behavior so that the ‘vertical scroll’ kicks in sooner / the ‘horizontal scroll’ stops sooner

@Sean Weas the closet I can seem to come to this is to mess around with the home_gallery_component div which is controlling the sort of hidden vertical track of this scroll section. Sets to reason that if we shorten this track and make the scrolling come to an end sooner, it'll start to scroll vertically again sooner as well. Hope that helps.

Killer - many many thanks!
