Challenges with integrating Relume and Figma for design and development

At a glance

A community member is new to Relume and is using it for Figma to design and then develop in Webflow. They encountered issues when copying a sitemap and homepage to Figma, as they could not edit the sections or nest the logo inside the section. They find it difficult to work with Relume in Figma and are seeking advice.

Another community member suggests that the issue may be resolved by detaching the instance once the component is copied into the project. The original poster confirms that they did detach the instance, but they are still having trouble and feel they are new to the tool. They also ask how long it usually takes an experienced designer to build a homepage with 10 sections using Relume's wireframe and sitemap.

Hi All! I have just joined the Relume family and I am new to it. Will be using it for Figma to speed up the design and then develop it in Webflow. I came across some issues. When I generated a sitemap and a homepage and copied it to Figma, i could not edit the section or nest the logo inside the section. I find it hard to work with it in Figma. Any advice?

Did you detach the instance once you copied the component into your project?

I did, it kinda works but i guess i am just too new to it. How long does an experienced designer usually take to build a home page with 10 sections combined with the wireframe and sitemap of Relume?
