Bringing in new Figma library components to an existing file/library

At a glance

The community member is asking if there is a good way to bring new Figma library components into an existing file or library, and have the styles updated to match the older file. A comment from another community member suggests that this may not be entirely possible, as there is no "variable sync" feature in Figma. The comment indicates that the community member would need to do some testing to confirm, but their initial thoughts are that this is not possible.

I there, is there a good way of brining in new figma library components to an existing file/library? Sorry if this is a silly question, still figuring out all the tricks of Figma.

Not sure if I am doing this right, but was trying to bring in some new components into an older file (and have the styles updated to match that older file).

yeah I'm not exactly sure that you could do that actually. I would have to do some testing but my initial thoughts are that its not entirely possible because there is no such thing as "variable sync" in figma.
