Applying Style Guides in Relume

At a glance

The community member is having trouble with their style guides not being applied while using Relume for the first time. The comments suggest that they should remove the class and use semantic heading tags instead, as no class is required for this. The community members discuss best practices, such as creating more elements in the style guide or using a separate class for specific elements like a landing page hero H1. One community member suggests duplicating heading-style-hXyz elements and adding a combo class if more heading styles are needed. Another community member mentions a video from the "resume guys" that may be relevant to the issue.

Hey Everyone, I hope its ok to ask this question. But does anyone know why my style guides aren't being applied? (First time using Relume)

Don’t add a class. Remove it. Click the class field and select purple/pink color “All h1 headings”

This is just for style semantic heading tags so no class required

Right ok that makes sense. Thank you. What would your best practise be usually? Would you create more elements in your style guide? As in Landing Page Hero H1 or would you just create a sep class on the Hero H1 on the page and customise it?

If I needed more heading styles I’d duplicate heading-style-hXyz elements and add a combo class

I think the resume guys made a video on this

Is this what you were referring to in your first comment?

Amazing. Thank you Alex
