App Error

At a glance

The community member is experiencing an issue with an app that they were able to use on Friday, but now they are getting an error. Other community members suggest that the issue may be related to the user's location, network, or a potential Cloudflare outage. The user has tried using a VPN and without one, but the issue persists. After trying various troubleshooting steps, the user identifies the issue as being caused by the "Web protection" service in their NordVPN, which was blocking the relume service. Pausing the "Web protection" service resolved the issue.

Hi. Is there a known issue with the app today? I was able to use it on Friday but today I get this error:

have you moved locations or are using a different wifi network than you were on Friday?

This may also be related to an outage with Cloudflare - though I am not seeing anything on their status page right now.

I am in Mexico but I have tried with and without VPN and get the same issue. On Friday I was on VPN. I get the homepage but the app throws the error.

Please let me know if you want me to try again. I just tried to sign up again and get the error there too.

Same error still I'm afraid

do you have any known node processes running? I ask because one other person had this issue and it turned out they had a node process running that was blocking access. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, let me know. I'll escalate to engineering when I hear back from you.

no. No node processes running.

Hi , which web browser are you using? Would you mind trying it out in a different browser and seeing if you run into the same issue?

Thank you. I have identified the issue. In NordVPN there is a "Web protection" service, active even when VPN connection is off, which is apparently blocking the relume service. If I pause it it works.
