Aligning Grids and Relume Components in Figma

At a glance

The community members are discussing the lack of a consistent grid system in Figma that aligns with the Relume components. One community member suggests using 64 margins and 32-pixel gaps, which works well for sections with 3 or more columns. Another community member expresses a desire for a grid system that is connected to variables, allowing them to change grid settings (columns, gutter, padding) in Figma and have all components adjust accordingly. However, there is no explicitly marked answer provided.

Hey everyone, I'm having a question regarding using grids in Figma with relume. I can't seem to find any grid system that would line up with all the relume components.

Hey Leon, great question, so currently we don't have a set grid system for all the components within the figma file but it might a great place for us to invest some time in setting up, thank you, I would say though that 64 margins and 32pixel gap does work well with majority of the sections that use 3 or more columns, feel free to let me know if that helps

We use grids to position everything when we code. The lack of grids in Relume, and components not aligning to each other on a grid is something I am missing a lot. Having it connected to variables somehow so you can change grid settings (columns, gutter, padding) in Figma and get all components adjust accordingly would be awesome.
