Advice on navbars and their dropdowns

At a glance

The community member is seeking advice on customizing NavBar dropdowns, as they find the default dropdowns to be too large. They mention that the dropdown from navbar12 seems to work well, but integrating it into navbar5 requires a lot of effort due to the styling and container structure dependencies between the navbar items and their dropdowns.

Another community member suggests that the visual styling of the dropdowns can be customized, and that the dropdown size can simply be made smaller. However, the original poster clarifies that the issue is not just the visual styling, but the difficulty in moving a dropdown from one navbar to another due to the underlying code and styling dependencies.

There is no explicitly marked answer in the comments.

Does anyone have advice on NavBar's and their dropdowns. I really like the navbars but I think the default dropdowns are terribly large. The only nav with a decent dropdown feels like navbar12.. but getting 12's dropdown to work in NavBar5 requires a lot of messing around.. how do others handle this?

What do you mean? The visual styling can be customized. If the dropdown is too large can’t you just…make it smaller? 😂

As far as getting individual dropdowns to work with the others, it’s just drag and drop in the webflow editor, the replacements are pretty seamless.

Yea it can be customized but I'm trying to move a dropdown from navbar 12 into navbar5 and that does not play nicely due to styling/container structure of the navbars being dependent on the code/styling of parent navbar items (to the dropdown)
