Ability to edit images in place and copy homepage as subpage

At a glance

The community members are discussing the ability to edit images in place and copy a "homepage" from one Relume project to another as a subpage. A community member suggests a workaround of setting the homepage in the sitemap, but notes that it may get messy. Another community member suggests adding images to subpages in the Style Guide and having Relume export them to a Google folder, which could eliminate a lot of churn for product managers. A Relume representative responds that the ability to have subpages in the Style Guide is not a limitation, but rather a feature that is currently in development and expected to be released in the next 6-8 weeks. The representative confirms that the suggested use case makes sense and is something they want to deliver on as soon as possible.

it'll be easier for our product owners if they can edit images in place. Is there a way for us to copy a 'homepage' from Relume Project A to our master Relume (Project B) as a subpage? I know there is no way to edit images in the Style Guide to for subpages

@William McGuire one potential workaround if I'm understanding the problem correctly would be to go to the sitemap and right click and set that as the new homepage - but chasing pages around the sitemap might get pretty messy.

Doesn't look like copying/pasting from one project to another works as expected, unfortunately.

@Matt thx.

Ok different approach. I know it's impossible to currently provide subpages in the Style Guide due to the limitation of pushes those images / etc to Webflow, right?

However, if it was possible to simply add the images to subpages in Relume's Style Guide and on Export to Webflow Relume simply placed the subpage photos into a google folder or something like that, it'd eliminate 90% of the churn time with the product managers. Does that make sense?

naw its not really a limitation at all anywhere - its just something we haven't built/released. I've seen demos of it working but its part of a larger "Design" tab release where this functionality will be coming. It's something that about half the company is working hard on every day and I suspect it'll be released in the next 6-8 weeks or so.

but yeah, your use case makes complete sense and something we want to deliver on ASAP.

ah ok. Sweet. Great to know. That will improve efficiency and usability / ROI tremendously!
