Uploading Images to a CMS with a CSV

At a glance

The community members discuss the possibility of uploading images to a CMS (Content Management System) using a CSV file. One community member shares their experience of using image links that were already hosted elsewhere, and mentions that Webflow creates new links to host the images on the new site. Another community member asks if this would work with a Dropbox link, but the response is uncertain. Ultimately, it is revealed that using Dropbox or Google Drive links did not work for uploading images to the CMS.

is there a way to upload images to a cms with a csv?

I’ve done this before with image links that are already hosted elsewhere (in my case, the old website that I was redesigning)

Once they’re uploaded, Webflow makes a new link so they’re hosted on your new site

oh really? so let's say I put a dropbox link - they will change it to a webflow link?

I’m unsure about that, try it out!

It didn't work with a dropbox link or a google drive link 😞
