Best Practices for Updating Figma Kits to New Versions

Hi everyone, what is the best way to update to a new Figma Kit update? I am working with v2.0 and like some new components in v2.3 but I would like to avoid to style the whole style guide again in v2.3. Thanks for any process recommendations!
