Updating text in a cloned webflow project

At a glance

The community members suspect that the issue with the text not updating on the website after editing the style guide is related to the headings. Some community members suggest that the user may not have edited the 'All H1 Headings' tag and accidentally created a class instead. Others mention that headings don't have a style applied by default, and the user may need to apply heading styles to all headings. The community members provide guidance on how to select a heading and click into the style selector to see the 'All H1 Headings' option. One community member also provides a visual reference for customizing the Webflow style guide.

Useful resources

I may be doing something wrong… but when I’ve cloned the Webflow project, imported the full wireframes, then I start to edit the style guide, the text doesn’t update on the website once I make edits

I suspect you might not have edited the ‘All H1 Headings’ tag, and you accidentally created a class

If I’m wrong, send a read-only link for your site!

I think it’s because all headings don’t have a Style applied by default

I’ve had to apply Heading styles to all headings

It’s just headings

You don’t need to apply a stylw

When you select a heading, click into the style selector and you’ll see a pink box saying ‘All H1 Headings’
