Unexpected Behavior When Pasting a New Component

At a glance

A community member pasted a new component (stats 1) into their project, but even though they had Class Sync on, they received a notification. When they undid the paste, the change did not seem to be undone. They are unsure why this happened, as the component had no dropdown interaction. The community member is concerned that this issue may continue as they replace components on 10 pages.

In the comments, another community member suggests that the interactions are not being used, so cleaning them up will be easy. However, they note that the issue did not occur when they tested pasting the component in a fresh project. They suspect this is a Webflow bug. The original poster asks for clarification on what is meant by "it's not in a fresh paste", and the other community member recommends deleting the interactions and seeing if they come back.

I pasted in a new component (stats 1) and although I had Class Sync on, I got this notification. When I undid the paste, it doesn't seem to have undone this change. I don't even understand why this would happen when I dropped in a section with no dropdown interaction. I hope this won't make a big mess for me to sort out as it will if it continues throughout the replacement of components on 10 pages. yeah thats very strange...i really have no explanation for that myself.

The interactions aren't even being used, so cleaning these up will be easy but its not in a fresh paste that I just tested.

Must be a really odd Webflow bug of some sort?

What do you mean by ‘its not in a fresh paste’? Would you suggest I just delete these interactions then?

I created a fresh project and pasted this component in and I did not get these interactions with the paste of stats 1. So I am not entirely sure where these interactions came from. And yeah, I would clean those up and let me know if they come back.
