Understanding the new cookie consent banner

At a glance

A community member made a post about a new Cookie Consent Banner and asked for help understanding the issue. Another community member responded that the issue was likely due to a wrapper component that was accidentally published, and suggested removing the position relative and height 100vh properties and changing the elements inside to position fixed. The original poster thanked the community member for the response. Later, a third community member confirmed that the problematic components had been removed and replaced with the proper ones, and apologized for the inconvenience.

Hello all, just a quick question from me. I made a post about the new Cookie Consent Banner, it would be great to understand the issue:

I am following up with the team but from my perspective, I really don't know why this wrapper is there other than to contain all of the pieces. So I would remove the position relative and height 100vh and I would change all of the elements inside of there to position fixed as they should be.

Again, I'll reach out to the team - its possible we just didn't do enough testing when this change was made. Apologies for the issues here.

Thank you for getting back to me Matt. I did think it was odd.

turns out that those components were published by accident and we have now removed them and replaced them with the proper components. These components do not have the wrapper and should function as they should. Very sorry for wasting your time trying to figure it out.
