Timeline component issue on the about page

At a glance

A community member is having trouble with a timeline component on their About page, as the progress line is not moving as expected. Other community members have responded, noting that the issue may be related to the parent divs having overflow hidden set, or missing color variables in the project. One community member suggests resetting the color style and selecting a color variable in the project to fix the issue. The community members are working together to troubleshoot the problem, but there is no explicitly marked answer.

Useful resources

Can anyone help me with a timeline component on the About page? I can't seem to figure out why the progress line isn't moving. https://preview.webflow.com/preview/domaniques-trendy-site?utm_medium=preview_link&utm[…]&pageId=65cbe1a5573f325ed8004aca&locale=en&workflow=preview

I’m experiencing this issue also, the timeline component doesn’t work the way it should.

Any help would do.

unfortunately with these timeline components, none of the parent divs can have overflow hidden set. It breaks position fixed/absolute components.

Secondly - it looks like your project no longer has any of the default variables in the project. Which is not the end of the world however, the reason the dot is not showing up is because the variable is missing. If you reset this color style and select a color variable in your project, it'll show up again.

Hope that helps - if none of these fixes your issues, I'll need the read-only link in order to see how your project is set up and to help. Thanks!

Got it! Thanks for taking a look.
