The Slider Component's Horizontal Scrolling on Mobile

At a glance

A community member is using the "Team 10" slider component on their Webflow site, but they are experiencing an issue where the slider scrolls horizontally on mobile devices when the user scrolls vertically. The community member has checked the Webflow settings and autoplay is not selected. They would like to keep the swipe gesture for the slider, but want to resolve the odd scrolling behavior. In the comments, the community member has tried troubleshooting with JavaScript, but this removed the swipe gesture and the arrows stopped working. They have also checked that the Lenis scroll is not responsible for the issue. The issue only occurs on mobile devices, not on desktop browsers.

Hi Relume team,

I am using the slider component “Team 10” for my site but whenever I scroll vertically, the slider scrolls horizontally on mobile. Here is the page where the slider is: https://filipinas-abroad.webflow.io/services.

Am I not doing something properly or is autoplay somehow by default for this component? I had a look at Webflow settings and autoplay is not selected. Thank you!

PS: I would like to keep the “Swipe” gesture for this component. I just want to get rid of the odd behavior when scrolling vertically.

I have already tried troubleshooting with Javascript but it removes the overall swipe gesture (plus, the arrows stopped working as well).

I have also double checked that Lenis scroll is not responsible for this behavior.

Lastly, I have tried reproducing the error on a desktop browser (mobile inspect) but it only happens on mobile devices (or maybe tablets as well), that’s how I have identified the swipe gesture to be the problem here.

Hi or , sorry, just tagging in case you had not seen it! :)

would you mind sharing a read-only link?
