one thing I would try doing is clearing your cache/cookies just for the relume site and try logging in again. You can easily do this near the address bar - I believe the same is true for Brave but its been awhile since I have used that.

this error is no longer wide-spread, so I am trying to rule out what might be unique with you - and maybe some sort of connection to a cookie got corrupted during the down time.

I suspect it would have more to do with cookies than cache, just confirming you've also cleared cookies yeah?
