What is the preferred workflow for Relume? I've heard and read conflicting information so far. Is it even worth trying to bring wireframes into figma. If I'm just going to have problems? I'm thinking of directly starting in webflow after my web frames are finished.
this is kind of an unrelated/related question - you won't hurt my feelings here at all - genuinely curious.
Not all styles import from figma to webflow for one. With the style guide beta, if I can visualize main style elements directly in relume, then are their major disadvantages of skipping the figma step? π€
P. S. I feel comfortable working in Webflow at an intermediate level... Have customized pre built webflow templates before
yeah there's no syncing of figma <> webflow and likely never will be.
However, syncing style guide to figma and webflow from Relume is likely a direction we'll head.
I would say it depends on what you are trying to do - if you are working with clients - a lot of designers will have a whole 6-8 week design process which requires several milestones where clients have to approve before moving onto the next step.
but if you are just building for your own company or yourself, directly to webflow makes complete sense
I am a single volunteer designer for a nonprofit, I have 1-2 "clients" I need to get sign off on.. they are not too picky.
Thanks, I saw somebody create a workflow diagram but I can't find it anymore. If you find it, it will be happy to update it for different use cases or maybe you can do that.
yeah honestly its something I need to do - so likely what I would do is turn this into an #C07LCP9PJUA topic to go over - so keep an eye for that and if you can join, you should!
