the missing sort option in webflow's collection list

hello! I've been using webflow for years and have been building a site for a client where I intended to sort the collection list by date. Yet for some reason there is no sort option in my collection list in the settings panel. I have never seen this before. There has always been a sorting option!

Has anyone else run into this problem?

Have you tried clicking on the list inside of the collection and checking?

Okay I found it!, You just need to wrap these both into a div so that you can add a condition on the right panel.

I so appreciate you looking into this, but I am not looking for conditional visibility. I need to sort the entire collection list by date.

I have webflow looking into it now, they are stumped.

guessing maybe so because I see the sort options for the events collection list.
