Understanding Active State for Preselected Radio Buttons in Multi Form 8

Hi All, I have a question for the multi form 8. In the seccond step there are radio buttons, with 1 that is already presellected. How does the active state work, is that with some custom code?

Corné v. yeah but it should be handled by formly from what I understand. If that is not the case, then there is a Finsweet attribute for that. https://finsweet.com/attributes/input-active But I would try the formly documentation first.
