Testimonial slider component not visible when reused on webflow

At a glance

The community member is using a Testimonial slider component in Webflow and has made it a reusable component. However, when they add a new instance of the component elsewhere on the same page or another page, the slider content is not visible when published. Another community member suggests that even though the slider is likely populated with the same CMS content, multiple CMS lists will be needed if there are multiple sliders on a page, and recommends following the "instances pattern" in the CMS slider documentation.

Useful resources

Hi All,

I'm using a Testimonial slider component and have made it Webflow component to reuse across the site although when I drag a new instance of the the component elsewhere (on the same page or another page) the slider content is not visible when published? Has anyone had this issue before?

Here's the preview link

And a screengrab which shows the original and the (empty) instance of the slider below it:

Cheers!

even though you are likely populating that slider with the same CMS content, you'll still need to have multiple CMS lists if you are going to have multiple sliders on a page. You'll want to follow the instances pattern near the bottom of the CMS slider documentation.
