anyone out there have a good solution for a terms and conditions generator? Doesn't need to product perfect results but just get a good starting point for a client?
We've been using chatgpt for this, but keen to see if anyone has a more robust solution.
Just a statement here - I am not a lawyer - but I'm curious how often us web designers are providing legal documents to our clients? I have essentially passed that puck off to the client to handle - if they want to use chatGPT and review or if they want to google and find a different template or generator to make it happen, they become the owner of providing said document. Just what I've been doing lately.
Just wonder what kind of legality there would be if something were to actually happen, you provide the document, and the client didn't review it - then what? Are they still liable, or are you? Hard to say really. Again, not a lawyer so I really have no legal idea.
ya, this is more of a lead the client to water scenario. I never put myself in the middle of that haha
also not trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill here either - its a very standard document
but it also requires a monthly bill - I do believe they have templates for free or that you can purchase.
