Sticky Option Not Working on Larger Screens

At a glance

The community member is experiencing an issue with the sticky option on different sections of their website not working on screens larger than the "desktop" breakpoint (1280px and up), even though it works on the "Desktop Breakpoint". Other community members suggest that the issue may be due to the community member making changes only at the larger breakpoint, and recommend starting over with the default breakpoint and making minor adjustments for responsive design. They also suggest using the Finsweet Chrome extension to manage breakpoints. There is no explicitly marked answer, but the community members provide suggestions to help resolve the issue.

Hi πŸ‘‹
My sticky option on different sections of my website doesn't work on a screen bigger "desktop" (+1280px and up).
It works only for "Desktop Breakpoint", weird? Do you have a solution?

you have only made the navbar position fixed on the bigger breakpoint. You'll want to do most if not all of your styling changes on the default breakpoint, and when you are completely done, then move to responsive breakpoints, making mostly minor adjustments.

Hey thx for you quick response but I'm not sure I understand it.

I was referring to the "header 80" and "layout 348" sections of the "community" page.

The sticky position of the elements in these 2 sections only work on the desktop.

Does your solution also solve this problem?

here you can see the problem for both sections

hmm I would maybe start over with that breakpoint - if you are using the finsweet chrome extension, you can delete breakpoints - its not going to hurt the default breakpoint and down. But the bigger breakpoints can tend to be very difficult to work with and in most cases are unnecessary.

you have quite a few styles changed at that larger breakpoint, and its likely just going to cause you more and more issues

Okay thx a lot πŸ™ I'll check your breakpoint solution to start.

Does the sticky feature of your template work as expected for both sections at larger breakpoints, such as 1280 px?

yep its not an issue with the components by default for sure
