Social Share Error on SM Page Due to Non-Existing Page

At a glance

The community member posted about an issue they encountered after setting up social sharing correctly, where they were getting an error stating that the page does not exist. Another community member suggested that the issue might be due to the URL attribute being applied to the link, and recommended removing it and using the "current blog" setting instead. The community members also discussed a problem with LinkedIn, but no definitive answer was provided.

Useful resources

hey! I ran into a small problem, after setting up the social share correctly I get an error on the SM page - stating that the page does not exist - do you know what this could be due to?

@Gromek Would you mind sending a read-only link?

@Gromek ah its because you have the URL attribute applied to the link. This is to only be used if you wanted to have a different share URL than the current URL which in your case you don't. So remove that attribute, and you should be good.

For the link, I would just do the "current blog" setting instead.
